Hey so i joined a new organization/group thingy that is super amazing. Its called To Write Love On Her Arms. Their (and now my) mission statement is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery. I think its a WONDERFUL cause so thats why i joined :) They recently added a twitter account so you can follow them and learn more about the cause!

I don't know how that really works thats just what it says under the album to show it to friends not on facebook so yeah... I hope it works.

Sorry!

Ok so i totally sucked at the whole keeping a blog during my trip to Europe thing but its not completely my fault! lol. We were busy all the time doing everything non stop and the hotels we did have internet service in all i felt like doing was sleeping instead of blogging so sorry!!! I will post pictures and little stories (and hopefully the video from our skit ;) it was awesome!) well i have to go. Hope fully i'll have something fun soon!

Day 3!! Still in London!

Wednesday July 8th!

First of all Happy Birthday Mom! So morning started out well. I slept AMAZINGLY so that helped. We had breakfast at the hotel and then loaded our coaches (GO PURPLE COACH!) with our London tour guides for a day of sight-seeing. We drove to the London Tower and on the way there saw a bunch of beautiful buildings with awesome stories. When we got to the towers we got a guided tour around and then saw the crown jewels. They were AWESOME!!!! (not the slang version but the Ewan McGregor version ;) probably not many of you will understand that analogy but i know one person will! lol) They were COVERED with diamonds and the First Star of Africa was HUGE! It is a diamond that is 530 carats.

They also had all the special corination stuff like a solid gold punch bowl that i could have used as a bath and the gold serving spoon that had the end shaped like a conch sea shell. Then we toured the bloody tower and a place where prisoners were kept for so long that they could chisel their family crests into the stone walls.

Then it was all kind of a blur lol so i dont remember the order but we went to Buckingham palace and on London Bridge and to the Royal Place Theatre and to a Beautiful Park and then ended at Westminster Abbey. Sadly there was really bad traffic so we didn't get there before 3:30 for the last tour but it was beautiful outside. Across the street is the Houses of Parliment and the clock tower with Big Ben (I learned Big Ben is actually the biggest bell in the clock tower and not the tower itself.)

After that we split up into our theraer groups to see the plays. Me and Dani chose to go to the Lion King and I'm so glad! The costumes were AMAZING!!! I know it sounds dumb but they looked so real. And the way the actors moved it was just awesome (again in the Ewan sense) Plus the stage was so cool. It turned and pieces went up and down and there was a giant spiral staircase thing that turned and came out of the stage that they used as Pride Rock. Then for the stampede part they had mountains with spinning columns on their side covered in wildebeastes. It was really cool.

We then got in a taxi and went back to the hotel. I rode down Fleet Street and was happy but my camera was dead so i couldn't take a picture of the sign :( Its close enough tho that i'm hoping i can venture down there tomorrow. Well thats all for today! More to come tomorrow! Miss you all MUCHO!!!!

Day 2!!! Even tho technically its day 6 lol

Ok so here is day 2's blog! (Tuesday July 7th)

When we landed in London it was midnight back home in Utah but 7 AM in London. After waiting in a humongous line to get our passports checked we got our luggage and loaded onto our coach. It was about a half hour drive to Windsor Castle which most people slept on lol. We got to the castle and had 4 hours to tour the castle and the surrounding city which was kinda set up like the gateway but only one level. The castle was MAGNIFICENT!! It had some beautiful architecture and history. We saw the changing of the guard and i was kind of disappointed because the royal guard band didn't paly during it because it was raining. Then we went into St. George's Cathedral. It was SO beautiful. I learned that it was built for the Knights of the Order of the Garter. There were so many sarcophigi or however you spell it and so many floor tiles in memorium that it was a little eerie for me and Dani who are FREQUENT Ghost Hunters watchers lol.

We then got to see Queen Mary's Dollhouse which was so intricate and HUGE. It was crazy. Then we toured the State Apartments which is like the Kings Chambers, Dressing Rooms, etc. and the other side was for the Queen. The dollhouse layout is based on the State Apartments. By this time I was exhausted. I had been up for about 29 hours with no rest. We went and got food at a place called Eat. which was kinda cool. Then we went ack to where we would meet our bus and i actually fell asleep while sitting on the ground leaning against a brick wall.

We were then allowed to get on the bus which took us to our hotel. It was only a 20 minute drive but because of the horrible traffic it took us an hour and a half. Which i thoroughly enjoyed by sleeping :)

We got to our hotel, got our keys, and took our bags upstairs and came straight back downstairs for dinner. After dinner we walked about a mile to St. Paul's Cathedral and then a little further to the Globe Theater and back to our hotel. It took us about 2 hours but it was tons of fun. We saw a monument to the fire fighters who died during WWII and we found someone with my moms last name which was cool. I was up for about 36 hours straight and it was a great day :) More stories tomorrow.

HELLO!!!!!

Ok everyone my hotel has free wifi in France so i can FINALLY blog :) i wrote up all my blog so i'm just gonna put them on here in order :) So here's the first one!!!!!

Monday July 6th

So today was an EXTREMELY long day/2 days. It started out by waking up at 3 am to get ready to go to the airport. I didn't get to sleep til midnight so i was running on 3 hours of sleep. Not fun. Anyways we get there and had to wait for all 64 people to get there which took kind of a while. When everyone was there we did the normal check-in/go through security thingy. We loaded around 6 and left on time at 6:20 am. It was a pretty good flight but i hadn't been feeling well the days before so i felt horrible. They showed "17 Again" which is a really funny movie in my opinion so that made the time go by quickly. After we landed i felt absolutely awful and threw up :( no fun.

We then had about an hour lay over in Houston's airport during which i got a jamba juice to help my stomach feel better which it kinda did. Then we boarded our flight to Newark airpport in New Jersey. That flight was a little longer than the first so we all got to choose individual movies to watch. I watched the Hannah Montana movie with my sister (She came with me :)) When we got into New Jersey we had about a 2 hour lay over so me and Dani wondered all the shops and bought some pins.

Then came the dreaded 7 HOUR flight to London airport. We hoped to sleep most of the way but to us it was basically 2 ish in the afternoon so it was kinda hard to but we did :) Before i fell asleep i watched X-Men and the beginning of X2. It was awesome because everyone had personal tv screens and over 300 movies, like 75 tv shows with a bunch of episodes, games to play, plus thousands of songs to create your own "jukebox". That helped the flight seem not as long. I slept for a little while and when i woke up there was a magnificent full moon as we were over the ocean. It was breath taking. The last hour of our flight i watched will and grace so that was fun. When we landed in London it was Midnight back home in Utah but 7 AM in London. Starting day two.

Pictures will come later :) Its lights out time here so i'll type more tomorrow! Miss everyone :)

Happy 4th of July :)

So today was a really fun day :) Billy, Connor, Aaron and Sarah came over for a BBQ. We were playing with snaps and me, Aaron, Dad, and Billy got in a war. It was a lot of fun until they ganged up on me. I have burn marks on my arm and 3 on my back lol. Then we put Connors swimming suit on and me and Aaron ran through a sprinkler with Connor. It was a blast :)

This is Aaron helping Connor run through the sprinkler. It was really fun to watch them :)

This is me sticking Connors face in the sprinkler :) he liked it haha

This is only like only a second long but we were going to take Connor again and Aaron picked me up and ran and put me on top of the sprinkler. This is only the last like second lol

Aaron and I swinging Connor over the sprinkler

Connor absolutely loved the sprinkler :)

We told Connor to give the sprinkler a hug and a kiss so he went up to it and made a kissing sound.

Then we told him to lay on it and he got confused and layed down on the grass.

The after effects of my sprinkler running :)

Isn't he adorable? :) he was freezing.
